Which Airflo sent me as a replacement.

Nice of them to do that; I had just asked if I could beg or buy a tip section or if they had old stock lying about!

So it’s used, I dunno, two or three trips, caught some fine trout and is overall a very nice performer. I like the matt finish. But it’s not my trusty old rod. By a fair way.

The old Airlfo Litespeed may not considered in the press as a top rod, but I never felt it lacked anything.
Except another foot or so for bigger water and a quicker action for the incessant winds we seem to get now.
But “I have an app for that” My Sage.

I could sign my name with that auld 8 and a hauf… ah well you know how it goes.
I’ve got all emotional now!
