Fishing as expected has been challenging this month, water levels dropping and increasing temperatures meant the tactics have to be changed dramatically. Evening rise has produced the best sport and boats are proving to have an advantage, flies to use have been small dark patterns with Diawl Bach and Buzzer being favourites.
The fishery goes to mixed fishery on July 1, offering coarse fishing alongside trout by fly only or any method trout.
