You’re logged out when you quit the browser. I have to login afresh each time. Not a problem!

Had issues too with login & logout since day one. Contacted Sarah (Subscriptions) and Calum. Their replies helped as per:
Login button only appears on screen IF (1)you have closed then re-opened your browser, or (2) not clicked “Keep me logged in”.
If you have checked this box you need to do the following: close browser down, open again, go to ‘Tools>Internet Options>General>Delete Browsing History.
Make sure ‘Cookies’ has a tick in the box that’s the main thing, you don’t have to delete all browsing history if you don’t want to. Click ‘Delete’ and close ‘Internet Options’.
Have done the above and all works fine now that’login’ button does what it says. There is no log-out, just close browser (not just navigate away from the FF&FT; site, but close the browser down).
Only problem I now have is how to update my Profile Page! I updated my membership to include the mag subscription. There was a button for that a while ago, the space is now blank and I cannot mod/add profile info..
Anyone with similar experiences that’s managed to resolve the ‘update profile’ issue?

FOUND IT!!:)

To update your membership profile proceed as follows:
1. After log in navigate to ‘Forum Home’page.
2. Find your login name/moniker under ‘Active Members’ bottom left side of page.
3. Click ‘PM’ (in Private Message field)
4. Page changes and a ‘Menu’ appears on left side of page. Here you can ‘Edit Profile’, ‘Edit Signature’, ‘Edit Avatar’, but not Edit Photo (message appears “Member Photo Edit not set up yet”), also you can ‘Edit Preferences’ and ‘Edit Localization Settings’ grin
Give it a try and post success or failure

Under Page, then Zoom, I have to set it to 75% to bring the Log In function into view. Like some others have indicated, found no Log Out function.

Tried the above but after step 2 I cannot find any PM (private message field, so I am unable to edit my profile. I am finding the site frustrating to use. No real problems with the old site. Newer is not always better!

Got it, it seems you can’t edit your profile until you have posted on the site, once you have, Doodlebug’s instructions are correct and you can update the file.
