In the May issue, just before the election, FF&FT; posed a number of questions to Roseanna Cunningham, the Minister for Environment. What do you think to the government’s stance to the interaction between fish farms and wild fish interests? For instance, does the Tripartite Working Group; “promote dialogue between the wild fish sector and fish farmers for mutual benefit”, as Roseanna Cunningham told FF&FT;.Or do you believe that “We [Scottish government] remain committed to working with the sectors [fish farming and wild fish] to further productive dialogue in the long term interests of both sectors and the local communities in which they operate.”?
