Ray and Wendy Gibson have announced details of this year's game angling and fly tying festival to be held on October 7 at Burton Town Hall, Burton-on-Trent.
Over 40 of the country's top fly dressers have confirmed their attendance, including Charles Jardine, Malcolm Greenhalgh, David Wolsoncroft-Dodds, Ian MacKenzie, Phil Holding, and David Edwards. New for this year is a fly forum theatre with a featured fly tyer.
The festival will also be supported by over 30 trade stands, including Cookshill Fly Tying, Eyebrook Tackle, the Fly Dressers' Guild, the Salmon & Trout Association, Wharfedale Anglilng, Coch-y-Bonddu Books, the Fly Tying Boutique, Partridge/Fishing Matters and Celtic Fly Tying.
Last year's event raised £1,500 for charity. Ray says this year the proceeds from the door money will go to Casting for Recovery and Fishing for Schools.
Admission is £3, although seniors get in for £2.50 and children up to the age of 16 go free.
