Staple stuff really. Precision is a fine modern mono, 4.9lb is 0.006in (0.15mm), 8.2lb is 0.008 (0.2mm) which is fine. Supple enough in the finer sizes, slightly wiry as it gets thicker – nice for droppers. Knot strength is good and works well with standard knots. The surface of this seems to be more lustre than gloss. Spools lock together and are fitter with elastic garters marked with the breaking strain and thickness – useful when tapering leaders.
