These are the second generation EWS range of outer layers of a comprehensive system of fishing clothing designed to be worn over soft, warm, wicking layers (also part of the EWS range).

Both jackets are cut with ‘seamless’ shoulders to give water the least possible chance to get in that way. Generous fit, arms are long and articulated, so I can flail about (not how I like to think of my casting right enough), and neither the hem of the jacket or the cuffs ride up. These waders feature a new top-flight waterproof breathable fabric, which is very efficient, and the cloth is also relatively 'quiet'.

YKK waterprook zips hide bags of pocket space. I particularly like that the pockets are below the surface so to speak. Fly lines can and do go looking for anything and everything. They can tangle around, so placing the pockets behind rather than on the surface makes it just that bit harder for my lines for catch me out.

The hood is probably the best fitting I’ve tried on any wading jacket. Even the Velcro on these jackets is superior: soft stuff rather than the usual hard, scratchy type. All in all, exceptional fishing gear!
